Roumanian language is an east-roman language. It belongs to the Roman languages, just as the Italian, Spanish, Catalan, Sicilian and Portuguese languages.

Unlike the languages spoken in the neighbour-countries (Hungary, Bulgary etc. where people use the Cyrillian script) the Roman languages use the Latin script.

Roumanian language is spoken by more then 25 million people in Rumania, Moldavia, Ukraïne, southern parts of Ungary, parts of Servia, and in the north of Greece.
